Information used by HomeOps
Business account and user information may include names, business contact information, authorized users, customer records, technician assignments, appointments, service addresses and communication history supplied by the business. Operational information is used to provide scheduling, customer service and related workflows.
Gmail authorization and permissions
If a business owner chooses to connect Gmail, HomeOps asks Google for the gmail.send permission to send appointment-related emails on behalf of the connected account, and userinfo.email to identify the connected address. HomeOps does not request Gmail permissions to read, modify or delete messages from the user's inbox.
How Gmail information is used
Once authorized, HomeOps may send appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling or cancellation notices and related service notifications based on user actions and the business's configured automation settings. The application may retain the connected email address, encrypted authorization tokens and a record of outbound messages, including recipients, message content and sending outcomes, for operating and troubleshooting communications.
Sharing and advertising
HomeOps does not sell Google user data or use Gmail authorization data for advertising. Connection information is used to operate the requested communication service. Technical service providers, including Google and hosting infrastructure, may process information to provide these functions.
Security and access
HomeOps is designed to limit access to authorized business users and protect stored mailbox authorization credentials using encryption and access controls. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
